Year 6 Beach Education


Every year Year 6 children go to Ruakaka Surf Club to learn about water safety.  They learn how to keep safe at the beach, what a rip is and how to identify one, the different types of waves and life saving skills.

Christmas Nativity


We had an annual Christmas Nativity Picnic on Wednesday. There was a huge turn out from parents and whanau to support this event.  The theme was Christmas from around the world. Thank you Junior School teachers and children for your hard work.

SFX First XI versus Vatican City Wanderers


We held our annual Soccer challenge the teachers against First XI. It was a hard fought challenge ending in a 1 all draw. There was a discrepancy as to whether the teachers had 12 on the field at one stage, but they vow and declare everything was legit :))

Rescue Helicopter

 The Rescue helicopter landed in our back field yesterday. They shared their new book they have launched to help with their annual appeal. The new book is called “Lima to the Rescue.”  

Kite Day


As our immersion activity for Celebration we held a kite day at Kensington Park. The sky was alive with various shapes and colours. It looked amazing.

WPSSA Cross Country

School Cross Country


We had a fabulous day yesterday. Here is a photo of the 9 Year old girls race top 3 place getters. We look forward in being successful in the Whangarei Primary School event.
