Mrs Bassett worked with Room 20 and created some NZ artwork. We were inspired by the work of New Zealand artist Marcus Winter. You may have seen his work on TV, he creates art out of sand. We used Black PVA and dye to create our art. We used our hand for the North Island, our foot for the South Island and our thumb for Stewart Island. We then decorated our picture with koru designs and used hot colours for the land and cold colours for the sea.
