Kia Akona- To learn

Our school values are aligned with the St Mary Mackillop values. We strive to live our motto and constantly look at ways to encourage children to reflect upon it. We want our children to live these values as part of their everyday lives and hope our Year 6 students will have fostered these by the time they leave our school.

Our symbol- He Poutama symbolises the journey of learning and achievement. Poutama embodies the essence of progress and understanding. It relates to the story of Tane Mahuta who climbed the heavens to retrieve the 3 kete (baskets) of higher knowledge.

We want our children to step up, always seek knowledge (matauranga) and aspire towards high academic achievement. To use their gifts and talents to strive ever upward.
